Welcome to the mind of Pascal Orelus. Here I will share my insights which may inspire you to find your purpose and live a meaningful life.
A famous philosopher named Jim Rohn once said “Personal Development comes before the fortune.”
In my opinion, here’s how I interpreted it:
If you have goals in life and you want better for yourself, it is important that you develop yourself first in order to have those things. You have to become more in order to have more. That’s why it’s important to invest in your personal development every day.
Personal development is similar to working out, the more you do it, the better you will get. By working out on a consistent basis, you get in better shape physically and you start to feel better about yourself. By doing personal development, you get in better shape mentally, you start to be more valuable to the world, you will have a better outlook on life and your purpose.
Personal development does not necessarily mean going to school and getting formal education. Personal development is gaining the ingredients necessary to become better/wiser giving you the skills required to unlock your full potential.
